Distance Reiki, also known as distant or remote Reiki, is a form of energy healing in which Reiki practitioners use intention, visualization, and energy techniques to send healing energy to individuals who are not physically present.

In a traditional Reiki session, the practitioner uses hands-on or near-body techniques to channel healing energy to the recipient. However, in remote Reiki, the practitioner works with the understanding that energy transcends physical boundaries and practitioners use their skills to facilitate healing at a distance. Reiki practitioners are attuned to the distance healing symbol which allows them to send Reiki across time and space. Although we cannot alter the past, we have the ability to shift our perspective and emotions regarding it. We can reclaim any personal power we may have lost in previous experiences. By raising our vibration in the present, we can actively shape our future.

Understanding Your Reiki Session:

1. Intention and Connection: I will work with you to set intentions for the healing session. We then establish an energetic connection with you, through meditation and visualization.

2. Sending Reiki Energy: I will channel Reiki energy with the intention of sending it to you, the recipient. This can involve using symbols, visualization techniques, or other methods to direct the energy across space.

3. Receiving Reiki Energy: You are encouraged to be in a comfortable relaxed state to receive the healing energy. This may involve engaging in meditation or simply being open to the experience. When I channel energy to you, sensations such as warmth, coolness, tingling, or profound relaxation may be experienced.

4. Following the session, feelings of refreshment, or lightness might emerge. During the integration process over the next 1-2 days, fatigue may be present, necessitating additional rest and hydration. After the energetic alignment, I will provide insights from your chakras and share any intuitive messages that surfaced during the session. We will address your questions and explore methods to maintain balance.

Many people wonder if a reading online is as good as a reading in person. I find that distance readings may be better than readings in person, because you can be comfortable, rest, and be quiet afterwards. If you are receiving a reading using your phone, please be sure to have a holder for the phone. (Even a stack of books will do.) You probably want to find a comfy place to rest your back as well.
